The USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) has identified a number of climate-beneficial conservation practices to improve soil health, sequester carbon and reduce greenhouse gas production while providing important agricultural and ecosystem benefits: increased water retention, hydrological function, biodiversity, and resilience.
